Because support is distributed across multiple panels rather than a continuous closure path, pressure across the instep is reduced and the shoe adapts well to difficult-to-fit feet or sensitive pressure zones.

This design may feel less aggressively locked-in across the top of the foot compared to models such as the CX239. This is intentional and prioritizes adaptability and comfort during long rides.
