Protect Your Investment
The biggest threat to leather shoes is getting them wet and drying them repeatedly. When your shoes get wet, you should never accelerate the drying process and instead allow them to dry naturally. Never use hair dryers, shoe dryers or place on or next to a heat source. This will dry out the leather and leave it hard and brittle.Instead, remove the insoles and place paper towels or newspaper inside and leave them in an open space at room temperature to dry. Once the shoes are dry, we recommend applying the appropriate moisturizer such as leather shoe lotion, leather oil or leather dressing.
