Designed and Built In-House

We design, develop, and build our top-level models in our own facility, where our team of engineers and shoemakers work closely to bring each concept to life. This hands-on process allows us to experiment, refine, and perfect—from our Custom Fit Carbon technology to our heat-moldable heel cups. Fit Starts With the Last
Every Lake shoe begins with one of our many proprietary lasts — 3D foot molds that shape the fit and feel of the final product. We’ve developed a wide range of lasts to match the real-world variety in riders’ foot shapes, arch heights, and width needs. From low-volume race fits to wide-foot endurance options, each last is engineered to optimize performance, comfort, and support. By designing around the foot — not just a single idealized shape — we ensure a better fit for more riders, right out of the box.
Premium Materials with Purpose
Materials matter. That’s why we work with some of the finest leather suppliers in the world—like ECCO, Helcor, and Pittards. We choose leather not just for its classic look, but for its ability to adapt, breathe, and last. Premium full-grain and kangaroo leathers shape to your foot, while abrasion-resistant panels provide protection where it’s needed most. When synthetics are required, we use Clarino microfiber for its light weight, durability, and responsiveness. It’s a deliberate mix—every panel, every stitch serves a purpose.
Engineered for Performance
Underfoot, our carbon fiber soles are engineered for peak power transfer. And in the upper, we’ve integrated Carbitex OmniFlex—a flexible carbon textile that supports the foot laterally while allowing natural movement.
